The Sunêlia Interlude ***** campsite on the Île de Ré is recruiting a child entertainer to join our entertainment team of 10 entertainers for the 2024 summer season. (June 17 to August 31)

We are looking for a caring and professional person who will be able to animate and bring unforgettable moments to life during the children's holidays.

Located 50m from Gros-Jonc beach, in Bois-Plage-en-Ré, our 5-star campsite welcomes customers mostly from France and Europe.

We are therefore recruiting new talent in tune with this universe in order to offer our customers their dreamed stay on the Île de Ré!

Job Description

In the summer season, the children's club team is made up of 4 activity leaders who will work in pairs for the two age groups (4/7 years and 8/12 years).

Our clientele is looking for quality activities with a good dose of
fun and kindness.

The typical program for a week at our campsite in the children’s clubs:
- Clubs open half-day from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday to Friday.
- Continuous day discovering the surrounding nature every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the children.
- One vigil per week on Thursday evening with supervision of children and meals.
- Creation of activities and major games based on the theme of the week.
- Production of the children's show.
- Mini disco 3 times a week with the other hosts (dances, speaking on the microphone, respecting the theme).
- Participation in different types of evening (host show, dance evening, etc.)

You will be required to:

• Manage registrations and reservations within the mini-club
• Supervise children between 4 and 12 years old
• Creation of the mini club schedule as a team.
• Ensure that activities are carried out according to defined schedules and respect the themes depending on the week (club decor, disguises, attitudes).
• Participation in the creation of activities, shows (entertainers and children), mini disco and campsite life.
• Adapt your attitudes and activities according to the audience and unforeseen circumstances.
• Be a source of suggestions for events during the season and bring your experience on all topics concerning animation.
• Be comfortable on stage, at the microphone and know how to dance.
• Having artistic talent is a real plus to join the team.

In a team spirit, you will work with the rest of the entertainment team, particularly during evenings (dance evenings, entertainer shows, etc.).

Required profile

The ideal profile:
- Ensure quality activities adapted to age groups.
- Be autonomous, organized and proactive in creating activities.
- Have a good sense of relationships with children and parents and ensure a spirit of conviviality reigns in the campsite.
- Knowing how to speak English is essential.
- Having an infectious joy of living is essential.
