The restaurant La Grillérade on the Île de Ré is looking for a commis chef to complete its teams for the 2024 season!

The mission of the kitchen assistant? Gather the ingredients needed to prepare dishes to offer a gourmet experience to customers!

Located 50m from Gros-Jonc beach, in Bois-Plage-en-Ré, our 5-star campsite welcomes customers mostly from France and Europe.

Our restaurant La Grillérade offers local cuisine, prepared with fresh produce, on the edge of Gros Jonc beach. We are open from breakfast to dinner, with continuous beverage service.

La Grillérade is also a large cozy terrace, lounge style by the sea.

So, if you are interested in a season by the sea in a natural and high-end setting, here are the missions that await you under the responsibility of the chef:

  • You carry out the preliminary preparations for the manufacture of dishes
  • You participate in the presentation and send the dishes in compliance with the instructions
  • You make the pastries
  • You maintain your workstation and the premises assigned to the kitchen
  • You respect very strict restaurant hygiene rules

The qualities required:

  • You are rigorous: you know how to respect the instructions given by the boss
  • You are reactive: because certain moments of the service are more intense than others.
  • You have a team spirit: you help colleagues when necessary.

Prerequisites and position information

You are ready to work weekends and public holidays (this is ok when you are on the Ile de Ré and a stone's throw from the beach...)

Experience: minimum experience in this sector or undeniable motivation for this position

Working hours: full time, 39h/week contract

Period: April to end of September

Accommodation: Post housed
