Sunêlia Interlude
We loved the evening entertainment, Luca , Hugo and the team were amazing. And we loved the quizzes and discos. Also the exercise classes were very good. The food was so good at the takeaway and the Staff were very nice and polite in the shop and takeaway and also in reception. Everything was very clean and well organised. We loved the pool and proximity to beach. Bikes were perfect too.
We could do with air conditioning and if not possible, could you put ceiling fans in as it was very hot in the cabins? . Maybe even increase ventilation and shade and put fly screens on all doors and windows , not just a few, so you could air cabin at night without flies coming in. The only thing that would prevent me coming back is how hot the cabins were at night, even when it was cooler outside. Lots of other people fend the same.
Location, beach so close & close proximitiy to a number of beautiful towns/villages like Le Bois, St Martin Re & La Flotte-all accessible on bikes. On site restaurant is very good, the take-away is ideal with good quality food also. The shop also provides day to day essentials. Chalet sites are reasonably well spread out, with own private area at most of them. New chalets are good quality with modern facilities like showers etc with sufficient space. Site appears to attract families only which is a positive - i.e no noise between 11pm-8am.
The swimming pool & outdoor lounge could possibly be extended a little? Sun loungers hard to come by at times & the pool can be too busy at times? The pitch ie soccer/basketball - could ideally again be larger and remove the metal side barriers? Or maybe add a 2nd pitch if space allows? ie to split age groups of kids, i.e 6-11, 12 plus etc? Our first chalet was riddled with ants & insects! I appreciate this can happen staying in a mobile home, but in this case it was excessive and should have been treated before out stay! It really was riddled with thousands of ants-was reported twice. When we moved for the last 2 nights, hardly saw an insect?? Our oven did not work when we tried it for the first time, just when we were preparing dinner! Nespresso machine also stopped working & we had loss of electricity one eve between around 6.30-8.30pm - again could not cook dinner! The equipment should be checked more regularly to ensure appliances are working etc.? No TV in D151 when we moved?

The Wi-Fi is poor and the cafe area could do with some updating and more comfortable chairs.

Amazing children activities with excellent animateurs ! The beach! Location on Île de Ré (cycling everywhere). Friendly staff no matter what the position. Well stocked épicerie.
The queue at the épicerie in the morning. Coffee and shop purchases (baguettes/groceries) should be two different queues. The night guard was very quick and efficient but could have some basic phrases in the main languages.at the camp to identhimself to noisy residents and express the problem. This applies to situations where peiple are in their tents making noise. Something along the lines of "Hello! Campsite security ! Open up" followed by "you are making too much noise and disturbing other guests. Curfew is at 11pm. Thank you ". Sadly we were beside very noisy neighbours and this affected the quality of our stay in a big way. Other than that you were awesome! We will be back...
It was an amazing, clean campsite with fabulous facilities.
Not essential and wouldn’t have stopped us from booking, but the kids would have liked more slides at the pool!
La villa was amazing, perfect for large families or groups of friends. Great location, with access to great picture, with stunning views of amazing sunsets. Great location to head off on cycle trails.
Additional cooking utensils for the villa. Not easy to fry eggs or cook on the outside cooking atea.

More vegetarian options needed in the restaurant. Also there was only one set menu option for vegetarians. When doing the set menus please include more vegetarian options. Toilets in the restaurant were bit grotty - could be improved.
Sheltered pitch, great location by the beach, close proximity to so many towns by bike, good restaurant on site, great pools, shop and takeaway were very good. All sanitary facilities were very clean. Very friendly staff.
Our kids don’t speak French so couldn’t take an art in most of the kids entertainment. I know there are lots of different languages on site but would b great if the activities were a bit more inclusive. Only a small thing, overall a great site.
Brilliant location, helpful staff. Lots of great activities both on site and nearby (tennis, sailing, windsurfing, paddle boarding, wingfoiling, etc)
Our fridge was broken when we arrived but we didn't realise until later that night as it was making a noise and we just thought it was slow to cool down, might be good to check appliances are working in advance. I was told there was a place beside the compose bins to clean it out, but I couldn't find a tap to rinse out the compost bin so I went to the outdoor fish sink instead. Clearer instructions about what needs to be done with compost bin when returning would help as sometimes people tight for time when they're checking out, so good to know in advance. We were in D158, the inside latch on the left side of the front door unlocked (by itself?) a couple of times and I had to lock it again. The toilet flush in the master ensuite runs water sometimes and you have press the button again to stop it, suggest fixing it to save water. The water was very hot out of the tap and your maintenance staff turned it down, thank you. The shower mixer goes from cold to hot very quickly
Friendly, helpful and hardworking staff in all departments. Great entertainment in French and English. Clean and well maintained facilities. Close to the beach. Bus stop outside. Lovely bar/restaurant with competitive prices. Great for cycling.
Maybe a happy hour on bar prices 5 - 6pm?

The location is perfect, the campsite is well maintained and clean. The on-site services are very good.
There is an ongoing issue with bad odours in the sanitary block, specifically the toilet area. I acknowledge that the block is cleaned daily, but it is not addressing the ongoing odour of urine which is prevalent. We love this campsite and this was our third time staying here, but this issue has existed all the time.
Was a very friendly, welcoming site, the restaurant food was excellent as was the choice of wines and beers. The location was just awesome and very popular for surfers.
One improvement would be to have a stable Internet connection as this dropped out far too frequently and was a total pain having to constantly reconnect almost every few minutes.

As most people use bikes at the moment you provide no safe access for bikes. The entry and exit barriers need to be shortened to provide a safe cycle route in and out of the campsite Or the flower beds altered to make a cycle path
Very friendly, courteous professional staff. Very modern facility, extremely clean all over.,Everything one needs is available and if you need anything all staff members are very helpful
The only thing we would like would be air conditioning in the chalets. When booking it was displayed as available but we were unable to book a chalet with a/c. Understandably we only booked one month in advance! Other than that all we can suggest is keep doing what you do and retain those amazing people that work for you, Some key figures at Interlude. Handy to beach Quiet
Ant hills were present outside my mobile home We all got badly bitten Communication was slow and staff very slow to resolve this situation Our holiday was ruined
Excellent friendly staff, very nice accommodation, very comfortable. Great location next to a lovely beach.
The ants were a big problem all over the deck and were coming into the cabin. One of the showers was leaking water so could not be used. The dishwasher was too small and the hob was not very easy to use.
My children enjoyed the soccer pitch and playground. Shop on site was very convenient. Restaurant provides good cuisine and was reasonable priced Good facilities for washing and drying clothes
There were quite a few ants present on our decking. Also lots of leaves. I asked at reception about this. They sent a person who gave me a chemical to sue for the ants (which I did not use as I have 3 young children present). No one came to blow away the leaves
Rustic natural landscaping. Wooden clad buildings fit well with natural landscape. All areas were kept very clean. Pool was clean and well maintained. Cabins were well appointed and very comfortable.
The only thing that let us down was the weather and Sunelia cannot be blamed for that
Staff, accommodation and facilities were great.
Food - restaurant and take away could be improved.
