The grenettes
Is this your debut in the world of surfing? This place is made for you, this spot is located on the west side of Sainte-Marie-de-Ré. This place is perfect for beginners or regulars because the waves are low and suitable for everyone. They break left or right. The best waves appear when the wind comes from the northeast. Just 10 minutes by bike and 5 minutes by car from the Sunêlia Interlude campsite, you can get there easily. Parking is available right at the entrance to the beach. Take advantage of a wild, uncrowded beach to recharge your batteries and fully enjoy the waves.

Gouillaud
This spot is located not far from Bois-Plage-en-Ré and it is the best this time for paddle boarding or sea kayaking. To surf there, you should know that it is only practicable at high tide, so don't forget to check the times before going there. Diamond Head
Located on the tip of Lizay, to the north of the Île de Ré, Diamond Head is one of three spots near the point. The first surf school on the island of Ré, RÉ SURF has been offering quality instruction since 2011 on the beaches of Portes en Ré (Lizay beach) and Bois-Plage (Gros-Jonc beach).
