The citadel of Saint-Martin-de-Ré is a military structure built in 1690 to protect the island of Ré. The fortifications form a gigantic stone star with more than 14 km of walls surrounding the village of Saint Martin de Ré. The exceptionally vast enclosure promises beautiful walks and the discovery of charming places in Saint Martin de Ré (the citadel, the port...). (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

Only 30 minutes by bike from the campsite, enjoy a bike ride and discover the emblematic town of the island.
